About GetReady Health
GetReady Health gives plain, practical health information to help you look after yourself and the people around you, and to know when it's time to see a doctor.
What we do
- Short, clear articles on everyday health, mental wellbeing, common symptoms and the warning signs that need medical help.
- Free tools, such as a BMI calculator and blood pressure and blood sugar charts, that run in your browser. Nothing you enter is stored or sent anywhere.
- Links to the official sources behind every article and tool, mainly the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and MedlinePlus, so you can read more and check what we say.
What we don't do
- We don't give medical advice, diagnoses or medicine doses. Our information is general and can't take your own health into account. See our medical disclaimer.
- We don't sell products or supplements, and there are no adverts on the site.
- We don't ask for your health details.
Who we are
GetReady Health is an independent website and part of GetReady, a small family of sites that help people prepare for what's next: GetReady Travel for trips and GetReady Academy for courses and exams.
