Privacy
In short: we don't ask for your health details, the tools keep what you type in your browser, and we only collect anonymous visit counts.
Our tools
The calculators and checkers on this site run entirely in your web browser. The numbers you enter, such as your height, weight or blood pressure, are not sent to us or anyone else, and are not saved. They disappear when you leave or reload the page. The search boxes on the Articles and Tools pages work the same way.
Visitor statistics
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits and see which pages are popular. It doesn't use cookies, doesn't track you across other websites, and doesn't give us your name or contact details. We only see totals, such as page views and the countries and types of device visits come from.
Hosting
The site is hosted by Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes technical information, such as IP addresses, to deliver pages and protect the site from attacks. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.
Consumer health data
We don't collect, sell or share consumer health data, as some U.S. state laws define it (for example, Washington's My Health My Data Act). The tools keep what you type in your browser, and visitor statistics are anonymous totals that don't tell us who read which page. If this ever changes, we'll publish a separate consumer health data policy before we start.
Cookies
The site doesn't use advertising or tracking cookies, and has no adverts.
If you email us
If you email [email protected], we use your email address and message only to reply to you. Please don't send us personal health details.
Accounts
The site doesn't offer accounts at the moment. If we add them, we'll update this page first to explain what is stored, where, and how to delete it. Accounts will be for adults 18 and over.
Children
This site is written for adults. It isn't designed to collect information from children.
